Welcome to the Woodend Lions Club heaviest pumpkin competition 2025. Its been a great growing season and for all those who have their own pumpkin patch here is your chance to be known at the Woodend Master Pumpkin grower for 2025.
Drum roll please: And the 2024 Winners were:
Jack (8) & John (78), grandson & grandfather from Carlsruhe with a whopping edible orange pumpkin of 14.71kg. Hearty Congratulations and bragging rights for the next year.
Now in its third year, just a $5 donation will get you in with a chance to win. Great fun for the kids and the weigh-in will be held at the Lions Community Market, Saturday 3rd of May 2025, between 9am and 1pm. Winner receives a sash and bragging rights for 12 months as Woodends Biggest Pumpkin Grower. Your donations go toward supporting local Foodbanks.
Rules:
- The Pumpkin must be an edible variety.
- The Pumpkin must be home grown.
- Weigh in will be held at the Woodend Lions Community Market, Saturday 3rd of May 2025, between 9am and 1pm. Winner declared at 1pm.
- Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- To enter: Turn up on the day, fill in an entry form and donate your $5 then get your pumpkin weighed.
